In August 2000, the moving of the vocational school "Conrad Tack" of Jerichower Land county into the newly reconstructed building took place, into the former oldest shoe factory in Europe. With the help of European funds and with new architectural work, this complex was made possible.
In the autumn of 2000, the school was named "Conrad Tack", after the founder of the shoe factory [Our whole history].

Every year approximately 2,750 pupils and trainees are educated here by more than 100 teachers in modern classrooms, laboratories, and work stations.
